FOR THE TIMES THEY ARE A CHANGING....

Posted by 3rabbitsproductions - May 26th, 2013

In the thrilling conclusion of BOREDOM EMPIRE, Iron Lung and his best friend Jordan Leavittson (UNKILLABLE) must decide how to best serve HERO SCHOOL. Do they stay and defend the only home the team has ever had? Or leave in hopes of finding the 'mystery movies' that Kevin Bacon hid the pieces of his soul in? Only time will tell. And while Unkillable plots his own personal revenge against Kevin Bacon for killing his mother, Dumbledouche and now ADAPTOR...the wise and all knowing IRON LUNG is concerned for his troubled friend and worries that the path they are taking may inevitably lead them down a trail of darkness and betrayal...and tragedy.

Working on this show makes me happier then anything...well except sex, drugs and rock and roll...LOL, but seriously....as we get closer and closer to the end of Season 1...we will see many things start to happen...We see how Iron Lung's carefree attitude really is the glue of the team, holding them and their 'faith' together...we will see UK start to break away from the team socially due to his reckless, and dangerous actions...as he starts to go on his own journey to seek power and fame. We see Toby building up courage to stand up to those around him rather than being a psychotic head case his whole life...(but still pretty weird)...we see Smart Guy developing a crush for Steele Reserve and we see Steele Reserve on facebook. Shocker right? Most importantly...the audience (hopefully) will see that even though every member of the team is different...they are also the same. They're all lost...all alone...but together...they are an unstoppable force of power and friendship. But friendship...like love is very delicate and can be manipulated as we will see from a NEW CHARACTER in SEASON 2, which I will not give ANY MORE DETAILS about because (as usual) I have said too much already....:) What's important and what I like about this idea...is that IRON LUNG is a hero of faith who believes in a 'GOD' and trusts those around him...while UK rejects all notions of religious theology and 'faith.' Throughout the course of the show we see this dynamic 'reversed' as IRON Lung's life slowly begins to crumble at the end of Season 3....

Iron Lung loses faith? Very good! Any good story has a reversal like that, and the plot seems even more diabolical than I first glimpsed.
Poor Toby! Where will he find his testicles?

So you just almost made me fall out of my chair at work from laughing so hard dude. Toby still has one testicle...he just has one false (wooden) one. HAHA! UK rips on him really bad about it in 'GOOD-GUYS' which will be a parody of GOODFELLAS. Did you like BOREDOM EMPIRE? SO FAR ANYWAYS? The plot for the show is all of my favorite movie scenes combined with the most dramatic parts of my own life to be blunt. It's the most difficult, yet brilliant thing I've ever attempted to write/make. Extremely challenging to do by MYSELF, but people are liking it so I'm going to keep making it...so hopefully one day...we will have an IRON LUNG AND FRIENDS theme park...just like DISNEY WORLD. THAT. Is my real vision for this show.

"I want all inquiries made...I want no acts of vengeance...I wan't you to arrange a meeting with Steele Reserve and the other guys. This war thing has gone too far, man." -IRON LUNG

Yeah! Aside from the disparity in the volume (gunshots too loud also), it was an especially tasty treat indeed! No BS man, that last episode was swimming with excellent exposition and angst!! Also great 'camera; shots of the team as well!
So... that was ADAPTOR that got smoked by Bacon, huh? 30 pieces of silver and/or a lifetime supply of chocolate will get you the same result....

The war-thing can never go too far! "When I start a war, you can be sure you'll see something new." Malcolm Reynolds, Firefly, one of Joss Whedon's last TV series I think (He did Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which I would've loved to watch, but it's got vampires and teen angst)
Love the fireside chat motif... looks like were looking the break the 4th wall or something.... perhaps a recap of events?

...actually, that's from the movie Serenity, but based of his failed TV sci-fi-western series.....
